We offer 3 different styles of wood fencing for Wilmington NC. Styles offered are stockade, board on board, and shadowbox. We use Alta Forest Products pickets and rails and  Postmaster + posts exclusively as they are premium products that come with a manufacturers warranty(cedar 15 years, Rightwood plus 10 years, and Postmaster + posts Lifetime).   Durable Fence Company offers western red cedar or Rightwood  plus  Hemlock spruce for our rails and pickets and Postmaster + for posts.  Rightwood + is available pre-stained  which saves you money.  Staining is a must for a wood fence to insure you get the longest life possible out of it.  Western red cedar is naturally insect repellent and known to last longer than treated pine, which is notorious for splitting, warping, and shrinking(This is why we, as a company, no longer offer pressure treated pine). Postmaster + posts are made of steel so they never rot, warp, twist, or split! Each post is also easily concealed with a single picket, giving your fence an all wood look!  Postmaster is the solution to have the strength of steel with the natural look of wood.    Get the best wood fence that will last and look amazing for years!

We offer standard privacy, board on board, shadowbox, horizontal, Agriculture fence, and more.

We use 6x6 posts for gates and 4x4's or 6x6 for lines, corners and ends. alternatively you can use Postmaster + posts that come with a lifetime warranty.  We do NOT use pre built panels. Everything is built on site.

Most gates range from 4 ft to 6 ft for single gates and  8ft to 12 ft for double drive gates.

Steel frames for gates are optional.

Our standard for Treated  fences is using hot dipped galvanized  ring shank nails for rails and pickets. 

Treated fences come unstained and we do recommend getting them stained or painted as soon as wood dries out enough.  We also suggest getting your Pressure treated pine fence stained every few years. It will make your fence look great  and last longer by protecting it from the elements.
